The number of “Christian” blogs on the internet multiplies everyday. With all the options available, it can be difficult to determine the right ones for you or the teenager in your life. Some seem good on the surface, but after a little digging, one can see the “click-bait” titles lack any real substance or are not Biblically sound.
I know that we cannot possibly cover every issue teens face on this blog, so over the last year, I have sought out other legitimate blogs and sites that are also geared for teenagers that are grounded in the Bible and offer a wealth of sound information for teenagers.
So…here we go!

Ok, Ok. Is it bad to talk about our blog first? I hope not; we are so extremely proud of it :). We started this blog in 2016 as a way to answer the questions we received over and over from teenage girls for ten years. Over the last year and a half we have steadily grown, and I am thankful for every reader than comes to our site.
Our target age group is 12-18 and we blog about a variety of topics including: guys/dating, spiritual growth, relationships, school, and life struggles.
In 2017, I (Sarah) released the book So, You Think You’re Ready to Date?. (I updated it in June 2020)It is a 40 day devotional-type book that lays a Biblical foundation for dating relationships and is a desperately needed resource for Christian teen girls. You can find out more about the book here.

Girl Defined
Girl Defined centers around getting back to God’s design for Biblical womanhood. They discuss topics such as modesty, feminism, dating, Bible study, fashion, gender, and much more. Their posts are relevant and strike a cord with the 15-25 age group.
They also have a book called Girl Defined that explores God’s design for women and have a conference once a year in San Antonio, TX.

Project Inspired
This site was started by a former Victoria’s Secret model named Nicole Weider. While in the modeling industry, she hit rock bottom and discovered Jesus. Since then, she has made it her mission to empower girls and tell them about the love of God.
Her blog centers around relationships, true beauty, fashion, and more. Her blog is targeted to older teenagers and from time to time writes about the beginning of marriage as well. She has published two books that you can find on her site. Her story is inspirational and so is the blog :).

Lies Young Women Believe
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this blog. I am a writer for them and I can vouch for their integrity. They truly seek to write about relevant topics and not fluff. They are serious about sharing the truth of the Bible on virtually any topic that affects young women. Their target age is early high school, but their posts are relevant for 13-25 year olds. Seriously, this site is awesome :).
This site grew from the book Lies Young Women Believe (which just received a fresh update!).

Emily Wilson Hussem
I discovered Emily about a year ago and we are kindred spirits when it comes to helping teenage girls. Emily actually runs her ministry through her YouTube channel and Instagram. She does live videos on her Instagram once a week and publishes a YouTube video every week or so. She speaks all over the world and is truly down to earth, yet immensely inspirational.

The Rebelution
This site is actually for any teenager. It was started by twin boys named Alex and Brett Harris as teenagers. They were tired of seeing teenagers live mediocre lives and wanted to challenge them to excel in their teenage years. They desire for teenagers to rise above our culture and live out their God given calling.
They have multiple writers on their site and accept approved posts from teenagers and young adults.
They also have a passion for helping teenager sharpen their writing skills to better share their stories and the gospel message. This is truly a unique site and their book Do Hard Things can be life changing for any teenager. I HIGHLY recommend their site and their book. You can find out more below.

Fervr.net
This website has many useful posts for Christian teens, and I have written for this site in the past. Their tagline is, “Helping you follow Jesus in your teens and beyond.”
Their blog topics include: friends and family, Christian living, school and career, dating and sex, community, and money. They also make videos as well. The majority of their readers are not born-again Christians, so their posts are simple to read and not overwhelming with Christian-ese.
