Five Songs About Breaking Chains & Walking in Freedom

March 20, 2019

Dear Teenager| It's Time to Break the Chains| Transformed4More.com

Music.

I love music.

I think part of the reason God created it was to help us express ourselves in ways that conversations and the written word (outside of the Bible) can’t.

To help wrap up the Break the Chains series, I wanted to give these five powerful songs about overcoming sin and walking in freedom. The Bible says in Romans 13:12,

The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. ”

I hope these songs help you “cast off” the darkness and walk in the light and freedom of God. Here we go!

March 7, 2019

A few months ago, I received an e-mail from a 15 year old who had been watching porn since she was 12. She was desperate to tell someone and was extremely reluctant to tell her parents.

Admitting to your parents that you are engaged in something sinful can be terrifying if you fear a harsh reaction. Due to this, I wanted to make a video for parents to hopefully help them see how to react in a loving way.

Please be aware that I am not giving “parenting advice”. I have a lot of experience with what keeps the lines of communication open with teenagers and am just trying to help.

How to Tell Your Parents You Struggle with Porn

March 4, 2019

A month or so ago, I opened an e-mail from one of our subscribers and it stunned me. In essence, the girl started watching porn when she was 12, and now after three years, she was completely consumed by it.

She discussed trying to stop on her own and her fear of not wanting to tell her parents since they had a “nice Christian family.”

I responded to her with a few questions, but I never heard back. However, I still wanted to make this video for her, and for anyone else, who needs to get this sin our of their life.

The video below briefly discusses the six steps to tell you parents about the struggle.

How to leave a toxic friendship| Transformed4More.com| Ministry for Teenage Girls

Emily sat on the couch and scrolled through her pictures. Before she knew it, she was back almost two years. She kept seeing pictures of her and her best friend Amanda.

The more Emily scrolled, the more she realized how her friendship with Amanda had changed; they used to have so much fun together, but lately, Amanda was not the same.

Friendships are a necessary part of life. However, as we grow and change, friendships naturally do the same thing, and, sometimes, it comes to the point it is wise to leave the friendship.

There are a slew of reasons this happens, so I won’t attempt to get into it, but in today’s post I want to share with you how to respectfully leave a toxic friendship.
