Dating is an interesting event. I’m sure there are thousands of articles out there about dating and how to do it. So why do I feel the need to add to it? Two reasons.
Reason 1: Because many of the articles I’ve read are not from a Christian perspective.
Reason 2: Some people are never taught the basics of a date in a simple understandable way. A few months ago, I heard a 22 year old girl, who has dated many people, say that she had recently gone on a date. What was different about this one is that the guy actually came to the door and picked her up. I was shocked. If a guy had ever come to my house and not come to the door, my dad would not have let me leave the house. In my dad’s view, if I’m not worth coming to the door for, how much could he possibly like me? [You’re awesome dad :)!].
Due to these two reasons, Susan and I enlisted the help of three teenage volunteers to make two “How to go on a date” videos. One for the bad date and one for the good date. The video below is for the bad date.
This video is like a lesson. It has all of the instructions at the beginning telling how to get the most out of it.
