(This post is going to give a quick recap of our Alaska trip and you can hear our speaking sessions at the bottom!)

For those of you who don’t know, in July, Susan and I were asked to go to Alaska for our very first speaking opportunity. We literally prayed the day before we were contacted that wherever God wanted to send us we would go. We just thought it would be closer than Alaska, haha.

So we set out for Juneau and after a 16 hour travel day, we finally arrived. The next day, our host took us around Juneau to show us the sites. Let me tell you, on a clear day (which is apparently rare in Juneau) this area is majestic, and I do not use that term lightly. Here are a few snapshots.

Six Books For Christian Teenage Girls-Summer 2018 Edition

The days are getting longer. The temperatures are getting warmer. Summer is almost here.

So while you’re ending the school year, I know it might seem bit odd to talk about reading more books. “We’re finishing school up. Why would you want to read more during the summer?”

Here’s why: these books aren’t required. Sounding better already isn’t it? I thought so ;).

Summer is a fun time, but for many teenagers, some days are filled with little to do, so you binge watch shows on Netfilx or scroll through your feeds all day. So in an effort to combat this, I wanted to share six books that I will be reading this summer.

They are all for teenage girls and I hope that some of them will interest you and that you’ll pick up at least one to read this summer. So here we go!

Four Questions to Ask When You Think You’ve Found “The One” in College

College proves a unique time in life; students from all over the country descend on a campus for 4 years to prepare for their next step in life. Many people find “the one” during this time and marry soon after.

If you are in college and think you’ve found “the one”, are in a serious dating relationships in college, or just want to go to college one day, please watch the following video. How Would You React to Being “Called Out” for Sin?

Last week, we discussed why it’s OK to call out other Christians for sin and how to do it.

Now the question becomes, how would you react if another Christian with whom you had a close relationship approached you and told you that they saw an open sin in your life?

Would you yell at them? Dissolve the friendship? or would you take it to heart and examine if there was any truth to their statement?
